CKI Oratorical CompetitionThank you for expressing interest in the 2023 Texas-Oklahoma CKI Oratorical Competition. For this competition, students will be placed into a room and given a prompt. Students will then have 45 minutes from 9:30 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. on March 4, 2023 to prepare a 5-7 minute oratorical speech surrounding the prompt. Participants will then be assigned a time-slot to present their speech (with only a notecard as prompt) and present it to the judges. CKI Alumni & Kiwanians will select a winner after hearing the speeches of every participant. The winning participant will be recognized and present their speech at the Awards Gala. CKI Impromptu Essay CompetitionThank you for expressing interest in the 2023 Texas-Oklahoma CKI Impromptu Essay Competition. For this competition, students will be placed into a room and given a prompt. Students will then have 45 minutes from 10:45 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. on March 4, 2023 to prepare a written essay surrounding the prompt. CKI Alumni & Kiwanians will select a winner after reading the essays of every participant. The winning participant will be recognized and present their speech at the Awards Gala.
